2nd Kurdistan Scholar Meeting has finished after the final declaration has been read, which participants were scholars from Kurdistan part of Turkiye, Iran, Iraq and Syria.

Academics and writers who took stock of the program which held as 4 sessions, stated that the meeting of scholars is a valuable work for Ummah.

Siyar [life of Prophet Muhammad] Foundation Founder Muhammad Emin Yıldırım, noted that this work is important which made at the time of when Islamic geography is shattered.  

Yıldırım, “Our scholar have gathered together from Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkiye. Problems of Ummah in general and problems of Kurdish people in specific have been discussed. Problems and solutions of this geography are tackled. We are in the process that Ulema has involved. And that is a hope-inspiring event for us. Problem of the Ummah only can be solved by a committee which leads by scholars. Islam is our one and only solution. Other than solution is not solution. Event there is, we will not get nay result.”

Our scholars came together for a common worry

Yıldırım mentioned about the historic process of madrasahs and similar topics were been held in the program which is hope-inspiring then the following expressions he used:

“Allah willing, soon we will get in a different process as Ummah and we witnessing concrete steps are taken to remedy problems in that period and Ummah will rears up. As a result it is important that problems are discussed. Of course, in the nest process, those speaking is to be transferred to the life. The atmosphere in here showed this. Our scholars came together from all around for a common worry. If it is Islamic consciousness and Ummah that make us come together then we must know the value of this work more and act according to it.”

Mehmet Göktaş, Chief Editor of Dogruhaber Newspaper, stated that the program is product of a work which not found in the world.

This work is a hope for Ummah, we expect it continues

Göktaş noted that all scholar must avoid from disputes and come together in a common point, and continued, “The back of this work should continue, steps must be taken and Ulema must institutionalize. This work is a hope for Ummah and we want it continues. Action must be taken without looking at different thoughts like in this meeting. There is no one where Ulema is not in. We should remind this to everyone. Leaders of Ummah are scholars. Also help from Allah will be gained if there be togetherness in the common point. This meeting has been held in the day it should be. Allah may bless the nest meeting for more productive.”

Investigative-writer Müfit Yüksel, remarked that they are in a program that will influence and beneficial result will come out with the meeting of scholars.

Yüksel emphasized on activation of Ulema in Kurdistan will benefit to solve problems in Kurdistan and added, “These kind of meeting are positives but also need to continue. A more active institutionalize need to be done behind of this. Kurdish Ulema must institutionalize in all areas of Kurdistan and give effort to constitute a barrier against the negativeness. A work need to be done to stop all these events happen in the region and constitute peace and tranquility.” (ILKHA)
