The information which was obtained by ILKHA shed light to the dirty and dark relations between PKK-FETÖ especially in Siirt province.

While it is reported that Brigadier Ahmet Şimşek, commander of Siirt 3rd Commando Brigade then arrested after coup attempt, led more than 20 fruitless operations against PKK, some sources claim that even this is pretty enough that is indicating PKK-FETÖ collaboration in the region.

On the day of the coup, a group of PKK militants attacked Cumhuriyet Police station with rockets. Siirt 3rd Commando Brigade, under Ahmet Şimşek’s command, was called for back but instead of intervening in the incident, putschist Brigadier Ahmet Şimşek tried to occupy governor’s office after coup attempt started. Yet, they encountered the people’s resist and then putschist Brigadier Şimşek was arrested after the coup attempt quelled.

Talking on the condition of anonymity about this dirty relation web, a dweller in Siirt province said that this brigade has conducted more than 20 operations in which thousands of soldiers, UAVs, F-16s and assault Helicopters including Cobra and Atak took place in these operations. Nevertheless, in spite of this kind of super power, they didn’t get dead or alive even a single PKK militant. Source asserted that even these futile operations prove the dirty relation.

“Emptied terrains bombed rather than PKK camps”

Indicating that after reconciliation process failed in the region, police and gendarmerie started to support military operations conducted in Siirt province, informant said that; “many operations were carried out by 3rd Commando Brigade. Police and gendarmerie conducted many successful operations while the Brigade came up empty-handed. After any tip-offs, troops from brigade were bombing the emptied terrains rather than PKK camps. Brigade commander was answering the critics ‘as we go there very crowded, they escape’.

“17 Special Forces police sent to death deliberately”

The mystery curtain over the so called accident, in which 17 Special Forces police officers died in a helicopter ‘accident’ in Pervari district of Siirt province on 10 November 2012, hasn’t been unveiled yet. It is alleged that command echelon had negligence and made mistakes in the accident. M. Ş, officer in charge at that time was then dismissed from army due to his links with Parallel State Structure.

“Informant said these remarkable statements about the accident”

I was the first went to the accident scene. When I went there a Captain was also there. He told us the incident like that: “I called the headquarters and implied that we have no any contact with any terrorist elements and a heavy fog covered the terrain. So no need to send reinforcement elements with helicopters, moreover we have unfavorable weather conditions here. But they announced that they were going to send reinforcement and I repeated again that the weather condition is no available for any air reinforcement. This is also kept in court records. A probe was launched against Brigadier of that time. Then he said in his statement that he didn’t force any elements to go to the region due to bad weather conditions. Then he was acquitted by parallel judges and the case closed.” (ILKHA)
