Killing Mehmet Salih Kaya, wielding a knife, and hit him in the heart, Abdulhakim Kaya, a member of Charleroi Kurd Society Center, hasn’t been caught by Belgium police, though a week has already passed.

Born in 1978, Mehmet Salih Kaya moved to Charleroi 4 years ago. He moved in a neighborhood which is densely populated by pro-PKK men where he didn’t know much about the city. Mehmet Salih Kaya was constantly threatened by PKK guys because of his opposite views.

Most of the Kurdish citizens living in this neighborhood have also been being intimated by Charleroi Kurd Society Center to take place in their activities.

Known as a religious man and having dissenting opinions against PKK, Mehmet Salih Kaya had three children and working as a worker in constructions in Belgium.

Residing in Avanue Mascaux neighborhood, 247 Marcinella Street, murderer Abdulhakim Kaya hasn’t been found yet since last week. Since the police haven’t been able to find the murderer, a view has emerged among public that Belgium Police doesn’t take the matter seriously and hasn’t conducted a broad investigation.

With Mehmet Salih Kaya murder, it is appeared again that how Kurds, living in Europe, are being intimated by PKK.

On the other hand the murderer Abdulhakim Kay is known for working on behalf of PKK and leading human trafficking for 20,000 Euros.  And it is also reported that Abdulhakim Kaya was mediating between Kurds when a problem emerges among them and fines 30,000 Euros on behalf of PKK for each side, Abdulhakim Kaya was also known as beating up those who rejected to pay their contributions to PKK.

Who is one of the prominent figures of Charleroi Kurds Society Center, Abdulhakim Kaya is very well known that he always takes place in the front line of any event held by PKK.

It is also alleged that Abdulhakim Kaya was sent to Charleroi by PKK after serving for more than 10 years in Brussels. (ILKHA)
