“Trial lawyer Orhan made explanations after hearing”

Making explanations after hearing, trial lawyer Orhan reminded that in the first trial their demands were all rejected but at today’s trial they repeated their demands after presenting necessary justifications. Orhan added that no one attended the trial from defendants.

Orhan said: “Court has accepted some of our demands; we have demanded three security videos images to be analyzed by experts to identify three persons who are clearly seen in the images and add these three persons to the trial as defendants.

Indicating that the investigation in Diyarbakır continues, Orhan said that they submitted the investigation numbers to the court. Orhan said: “We have demanded these three persons put in defendants list. Court adjourned the trial due to the experts didn’t attended the hearing in Diyarbakır and for other incomplete documents in the files. The trial adjourned until 12th July.”

“Secret witness will testify”

Over a question about the secret witness, Orhan said: “Secret witness’ testimony will be taken on 20th April after necessary security measures taken in Diyarbakır. We have rejected to this rule in terms of constitution 36th article and European Court of Human Rights decree over similar cases, that provides us to ask questions to the witness directly, but the court rejected this demand.” (ILKHA)
