Over the call of head of HDP Selahattin Demirtaş, HDP/PKK militants occupied the streets on 6-7 October 2014 and killed innocent people simple because they had Islamic identity. Just after the events it is claimed in printed and visual media that wounded HDP/PKK militants received medical treatment in state hospitals. However an investigation launched over the allegations two years later.

State hospitals served PKK during 6-7 October

Just after the events, the documents displayed by ILKHA proved that many PKK/PYD militants had medical treatment through irregular process at Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil State Hospital. The documents showed that PKK militant Abdullah Kobani registered to the hospital with the number 364513 and using a woman name and Aram Adem check in the hospital with number 364510 using a woman name. ILKHA told public hundreds of irregular process like these.

The allegations of wounded during 6-7 October protest, scores of Kobani and Ezidi refugees had medical treatment after undue process and even the orthopedics unit of the hospital  assigned for them  covered by media.

It was also claimed that General Secretary of State Hospitals Murat Kangın and vice- principal of the hospital Ihsan Eken looked after the wounded PKK militants transferred to the hospital in person.

The records deleted

On the contrary of Murat Kağnı’s explanation that they want an investigation, the inspectors put in charge found out that the hospital records were deleted.

“Many hospitals in the city at PKK disposal”

According to local media not only Gazi Yaşargil but many community clinics were being managed as if they were at PKK’s disposal. There were many pro PKK employees in the staff of the hospitals that didn’t act as public servants but PKK members during the events.

The wounded people shot by PKK executed in the hospitals!

While wounded PKK members treated in the hospitals, the wounded people shot by PKK were executed also reported by media.

Cumali Guneş, whose brother was taken to the hospital after he was shot by PKK during 6-7 October revolt, told the reporters that his brother was killed by pro PKK hospital staff.

Hospital staff approaches patients with respect to their ideologies

Seyithan Çiftçi also claimed that he wasn’t paid any attention during 4 days in the hospital after he was wounded by PKK militants during 6-7 October protests by reason of having beard. Çiftçi said that he didn’t receive any treatment in the hospital’s emergency unit for 3 hours in Dicle University medical faculty hospital. After that he had to go to a private hospital.

Even though this kind of news took place in both printed and visual media, authorities overlooked these reports until the same allegations have come into question for wounded security forces taken to these hospitals. After a long break the authorities launched investigation over these allegations which were announced by ILKHA. Ministry of Health assigned three inspectors to conduct the investigation.

Innocent people killed brutally during 6-7 October protests

As it is remembered over the call of HDP representatives, chaos occupied the Kurdish cities during 6-7 October protest. PKK/HDP thugs attacked brutally to people, Quran courses, mosques, political parties’ offices and NGO’s offices in various cities. YPG militants also took place in the revolt, one of the bloodiest attack against people in the history, and they slaughtered Yasin Börü and his friends savagely, by slitting their throats, burning their bodies and also shot with guns many times.
